W. Women in Italian Design

The ninth edition of the Triennale Design Museum, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico and exhibition design by Margherita Palli, addresses the Italian design in the light of one of the most delicate issues, the most difficult, but also more stimulating and suggestive that the gender issue . The idea that gender is not only a biological and natural given, but a cultural issue opens interesting perspectives for what will become the design after design. "W. Women in Italian Design" seeks to chart a new history of Italian design to reconstructing female figures, theories, design attitudes that were seeded in the twentieth century and have established, transformed and evolved in the XXI century.
